I realized as I was writing this post, that the item I am working on is called Three Boats yet all I have shown you so far is a whole lot of black stitching. It will be quite a while before I even get close to stitching a single boat. Here is where I was the last time I posted three weeks ago.
There was a lot of black with a little blue and green mixed in. No matter, I am finally not stitching all black. I have now been stitching a lot of brown for the tree trunk. It is a change, but not much color has been added. It will come.
I am working my way across the first page out of 24. Oh my goodness, there are 24 pages! I hope you all don't get quite bored with seeing this project grow bit by bit over the next few years. Be sure to check into the other posts on my blog to know that I do actually work on other things along the way.
Thank you so much to Avis from Sewing Beside the Sea for hosting this Stitch-along. Please take the time to look at the work of the other bloggers that are participating. There are 31 of us now:
I am also joining Kathy for some Slow Sunday Stitching. Pop on over to her site to see what some other bloggers are stitching. I think my Patriotic Bunny needs some love today.
Thanks for stopping by!

ReplyDeleteSo do I!
DeleteIt is always worth the wait, when bit by bit more of the picture emerges.
ReplyDeleteRight now there is a lot of confetti stitching that makes the progress so much slower.
Deletelol we'll be patient, as you plough your way through all 24 pages ^^ Total insanity, but we're here to make sure you stay sane.
