I have finished a tree on "October Morning".
I think I will try to work on some more of the grass below the church next.
I have also started the face of the bunny on "Happy Birthday America".
Not much, but at least a start. I think I will work on this some more this week as I want to finish it before July obviously.
I bought some plants at a local garden shop. I have planted the three pots that are on my front porch. The third is hiding to the left of my front door.
I have also planted two tomato plants and some other pots on my back deck. I will show those to you when I can get a picture. It was pouring rain yesterday.
I have basil, a pepper plant and some other flower pots still to fill, but again it was raining yesterday so I couldn't finish potting plants.
Bunny was visiting my driveway when hubby went to get the newspaper. It just stayed where it was and watched Hubby. I got my camera, came out on the front porch and snapped these photos.
Isn't Bunny adorable.
Yesterday, I made Banana Blueberry Bread.
The recipe made three small loaves. I haven't tried it yet, but my MIL says hers is tasty.
I am joining Kathy for some Slow Sunday Stitching. Pop on over to her site to see what other bloggers are stitching. I think I will work on my patriotic bunny.
Thanks for stopping by!
I was just thinking the other day that banana blueberry sounded like a good combo and then I ate the last banana and forgot about it lol. I have a pair of rabbits outside this morning and have seen squirrels again lately too - I'm wondering where our pair of hawks have gone to that have been here for awhile now as they seemed to have been scaring all of these little critters away
ReplyDeleteYes, the bunny is adorable. Strange that he/she stayed in the one position and just looked at your husband. Normally they hurry away quicker than quick. Love those autumn-like colours in the tree. Hope it stops raining soon so you can pot up those plants.
ReplyDeleteOh such intricate crossstitch! I have seen bunnies freeze like that its like they are too scared to move!
ReplyDeleteI love your cross stitch projects, wonderful to see your last one on your header. Cute bunny.
ReplyDeleteGreat cross stitch projects, and potted plants! I need to go get some herbs. I have some planters to fill up! Happy Stitching!
ReplyDeleteLove the tree! -- and the bunny. Happy stitching.
ReplyDeleteCathie: October Morning is really looking good, I am looking forward to seeing the new design finished, I love working on Patriotic designs.
ReplyDeleteThat bread looks yummy.
There are a mom and dad bunny living under the neighbors front porch, they do not have the heart to shoo them out, they have such cute little babies running around.
Have a lovely week.
Catherine
How do you find stitching on navy blue? I can only do it during the day in good light, but the end results have always been worth the effort! Your banana blueberry bread looks really tasty. That's one tame bunny, obviously he doesn't feel threatened by you or he'd be off!
ReplyDeleteYour crossstitch projects are lovely, I used to love crossstitch but I find it hard now my eyesight isn't that great for small stitches. That bunny is so cute and your loaf looks yummy, I made a banana loaf last week and I had to put it straight into the freezer before I ate the lot haha. It was lovely to find your blog thank you for your visit to mine. Have a great week. xx
ReplyDeleteOctober Morning is really coming along! We the wild bunnies in our yard, too - I enjoy them. The banana blueberry bread sounds yummy, so I saved your recipe. Thanks for sharing it!
ReplyDeleteMmm banana blueberry bread sounds so tasty!
ReplyDeleteBunny pictures! He/She is so cute!
ReplyDeleteThe church with a nearby tree changing its leaves will make for a lovely autumn scene. Looking forward to seeing more of July's bunny. It's been a flower planting week at my house also.

my husband will be putting in our veggie garden today (supposedly). I'm excited because we have not done a garden in a few years!
ReplyDeleteYour baking looks delicious!
ReplyDeleteI'm not friends with our local bunnies... they are cute but they eat my vegetable garden!
