Local sights

This past weekend Hubby and I made a trip to the liquor store. This is what greeted us out front.
A cork cow! I collect our wine corks and have used them to make this tray, but I don't think I have enough to make a cow. At least I hope not or we are drinking way too much wine.

We also enjoyed the nice daytime weather and took a 2 1/2 mile walk in our local preserve.
Although they are a little difficult to see, there was an abundance of yellow irises in bloom at the edges of the water.
Thanks for stopping by!

  1. That is so funny as a friend of mine was just telling me she had heaps of corks to use up! I have a heat mat made of corks that I showed her, but I so have to show her this cow!

  5. That would be a lot of wine, but it is fabulous. Your tray looks so pretty too. I've made birdhouses with mine in the past.
