Stitch Along Update

I have been busily stitching on Three Boats for the past 3 weeks. Here is where I was then.
I had finally started working with colors other than black. That is a tree trunk that has the color.
I have since mostly finished the tree trunk and I am back to stitching with black floss again.

It will be littered with other colors in between though that I will be adding as I go.  I am about halfway done with the first of 24 pages.

A sincere thank you to Avis from Sewing Beside the Sea for hosting this SAL. Please take the time to look at the work of the other bloggers that are participating:

Thanks for stopping by!

  1. I am sure it will be nice to finish up this dark section and move onto brighter colors. The tree trunk looks great!

  9. I think you're doing the right thing to get the darker bits done first. The tree trunk looks really good with all the extra colours:-)

  12. I am assuming this is a HAED design. There is so much work and its often difficult to tell what is happening for quite a while, but your needle must be smoking to have done so much. Great work x

    1. This is an Artecy Design called Three Boats on a Tropical Beach. Similar to HAED in size.

  15. I can't imagine working on a project that's 24 pages -- but you're making good progress (and we'll get to enjoy it for a long time to come!)
