Three weeks ago I didn’t have much stitching to show due to the holidays and our trip to visit our daughter. This is how Three Boats looked then.
We had another trip during the past three weeks. We went to California to see our son, daughter in law and grandson. Our 5 day trip turned into 6 due to the snow in NY. I’ve been working on Three Boats intermittently since we returned and have gotten up to stitching the top edge of a boat.
This Stitch Along is hosted every three weeks by Avis at Sewing Beside the Sea who kindly sends us the needed posting reminders.
Grab yourself a cup of coffee or tea and take some time to visit the other bloggers below who are part of this stitch-along. There is a wide variety of stitching projects. These talented stitchers are from all over the world, so please allow for the time differences and check back for each post.

Every stitch added is progress! I’m looking forward to seeing the next part of the boat appear. Gail at the cozy quilter
ReplyDeleteIt still counts!! Any progress is still progress!
ReplyDeleteThe three boats are starting to appear! Keep moving forward, as they say!
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to seeing the boat grow. Slow and steady wins the race!
ReplyDeleteSo very true.
DeleteFamily time is much more important than crafting. Glad you got a few stitches done.
ReplyDeleteI agree wholeheartedly!
Deletetraveling really ruins any of my progress on my projects, even if I take them with me!! There is no time.
ReplyDeleteAs you said it's progress. I hope you had a lovely time with the family
ReplyDeleteWe loved visiting our son and his family. Thanks for visiting.
DeleteWe all wish we had more time for our crafts but some times
ReplyDeleteFamily comes first.
Have fun. Hugs June.
You remind me of myself, CathieJ. I have a love for many handicrafts! I was looking back at all you are working on, looks like me. I have patchwork pieces I am cutting out for a quilt,, a Sense and Sensibility dress in the making for my grand-daughter( I just finished silk-ribbon embroidery on the sleeves), I'm knitting a sock, and my most recent project I have begun....A knitted Memory Scrap Blanket.
ReplyDeleteBlessings to you and your handiwork time!
I like that dress idea. I struggle with making clothes sometimes. I like the idea of a knitting Memory Scrap Blanket. Thanks for visiting.
DeleteHi Cathie: So sorry for the late comment, any progress is good progress, you do have many pages to get through. it was a busy season for us all, I had very little progress myself.
