I am not exactly sure why there were some slow days at work and after work, but they did allow me to get a whole lot of stitching completed on Santa and a little bit on the secret stitching.
Santa's face is filling out. I just have to keep stitching the pale peach color.
He even has eyes now. Do you see him winking at you?
The secret stitching had some more green leaves added as well as some pale blue and white flowers that are somewhat difficult to see and not evident in this photo.
They will come alive when the outlining is completed.
These pretty pink flowers in front of my house have bloomed.
They are a welcoming sight when entering the house.
There may be a light at the end of the tunnel in my quest to find my mother 24/7 care. I will update you next week as that care is supposed to hopefully start on Thursday. Fingers crossed. There have been a whole lot of phone calls and virtual assessments happening this past week.
To put a smile on everyone's face, I was placing an yard ornament and turned around to see these two bunnies facing off.
I am joining Kathy for some Slow Sunday Stitching. Grab a cup of tea or coffee and pop on over the her site to see what other bloggers are stitching. I think I will work some more on my secret stitching or Three Boats.
Thanks for stopping by!
Oh Santa is wonderful I love his face .
ReplyDeleteOh and cute bunnies too.
And lovely flowers in your garden so pretty.
Enjoy your Sunday.
Santas face really is coming alive! I hope things work out ok with your mums care.
ReplyDeleteWe had two bunnies chasing each other around our yard the other day. Finn saw them from the back door and let them know that they were not welcome! Santa is looking more jolly with every stitch! So nice to see spring flowers in the garden. Here’s hoping all goes smoothly with your mom’s caregivers
ReplyDeleteGreat progress on Santa's face, Cathie.
ReplyDeleteLove the header crochet blanket picture, it is really spring. So darling the 2 bunnies , they are cute. Hope everything goes well with your mother. Happy stitching.
maybe your Santa will be done by Christmas? I hope the care for your mother is solved soon as you say - you really need a break I'm sure! love watching small animals in the yard
ReplyDeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteLove the Santa...he's adorable with the winking
eye. We have some bunnies too, but they won't sit
still long enough for me to take their
picture. Have a great day!
Glad you're making progress getting help for your mom! Love the bunny photos, too. We enjoy seeing them in our yard, too. Santa is really coming along!
ReplyDeleteI am so glad there is a light at the end of the tunnel with your mom's care, fingers crossed!!! Love the santa stitching:)
ReplyDeleteGood progress in Santa's face. Bunnies are always cute.
ReplyDeleteLove the stitching pictures.
ReplyDeleteBunnies: when we lived in our townhouse, a mother bunny decided to have her babies in our front yard under the fountain grass.
OH . MY . GOD !! ‘Cute' is a totally inadequate word to describe them. They would come out on our side walk and sit and stare at you when we were exiting or entering. If you got close they finally moved, but because we “shared” the space from their birth, they had little fear of us. A wonderful memory.
I hope Thursday’s help works out for you. I LOVE your Santa.
ReplyDeleteThat is good news re care for your mum. Sweet little bunnies and as for your Santa, I can indeed see him winking at me. He has such a cheery and friendly face. Lovely stitching!
