Two knits at once. What am I thinking? Well, the hat is a really easy knit now that this is my third time making it. It is knitting up nicely.
I have had this alpaca yarn in my stash for about two years. I bought it then at the Long Island Fleece and Fiber Festival. It is DK and I really had no plan for it. Recently, I found the Fresh Till Cowl and I knew that this is what I wanted to make.
This is a rusty red yarn called Apple Peel Red by Six Paca Farm in Connecticut. It is so light and soft. I hope the cowl looks as good as I think it will and I hope I have enough yarn.
I am still reading Eat, Pray, Love. I am about one-third of the way through it. I can't say that I love this book, but I am enjoying it.
I am joining Ginny for Yarn Along. What are you knitting/crocheting? What are you reading? Pop on over to her site to see what other bloggers are up to.
Thanks for stopping by!
pretty knits, lovely patterns and I do enjoy revisiting a tried and true pattern!!
ReplyDeleteThe alpaca yarn is just beautiful! For some reason, it scratches me, so I'm jealous of those of you who can wear it!
ReplyDeleteBoth of your knits look lovely. I look forward to seeing them both completed and reading if your yarn did knit up the way you hope it will.
ReplyDeleteI felt the same as you about the book Eat, Pray, Love - strange, sometimes when reading these "must read" titles, I wonder if I am reading the same title as all of those others who gave the rave reviews :O

Oh how I wish I only had two WIPs going...happy knitting! :)
ReplyDeleteI am working with alpaca yarn at the moment, it really is a dream to work with isn't it? Two great projects.
ReplyDeleteI really didn't like that book, it was too self-obsessed for me. I love the look of that cow, I hope you enjoy it!
