Mom's vest is finished!

I finally, finally put the finishing touches on Mom's vest. I wove in all the ends and added the buttons. To top it all off, this vest actually fits her!

This pattern was so easy that I would definitely make it again.

I am joining Ginny for Yarn Along today. What are you knitting/crocheting? What are you reading? Pop on over to her site to see what other bloggers are up to.

I am happily reading The Forgotten Garden by Kate Morton. This was a Christmas gift from my own Kate, my daughter (we actually call her Katie or Katelyn). I have read it before, but I am enjoying it all over again. I really like the way Kate Morton writes.

  11. That vest is lovely. I always regret not learning to knit. My grandmother warned me that if I learnt to crochet first, knitting would be hard to master, and she was correct (as usual).
