I finally, finally put the finishing touches on Mom's vest. I wove in all the ends and added the buttons. To top it all off, this vest actually fits her!
This pattern was so easy that I would definitely make it again.
I am joining Ginny for Yarn Along today. What are you knitting/crocheting? What are you reading? Pop on over to her site to see what other bloggers are up to.
I am happily reading The Forgotten Garden by Kate Morton. This was a Christmas gift from my own Kate, my daughter (we actually call her Katie or Katelyn). I have read it before, but I am enjoying it all over again. I really like the way Kate Morton writes.
I'm glad you got it finished. It's perfect for this time of year. Great color too!

ReplyDeleteI love the vest, it looks great! I've only read one Kate Morton book but I really liked it, I must get another one soon :)
ReplyDeleteSo pretty, Cathie--and I do love that color :)
ReplyDeleteThat vest is lovely. I always regret not learning to knit. My grandmother warned me that if I learnt to crochet first, knitting would be hard to master, and she was correct (as usual).
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! That color is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteLooks cosy and warm. I love that author, her writing is compulsive!
