My azaleas are all in bloom!
This one is hidden behind our pool.
These are under my Kousa dogwood near the birdbath and feeder.
There is also a rhododendron that is just starting to bloom.
These hanging baskets were a Mother's Day gift from my husband.
I hope to get some time today to sit on my back deck, enjoy my flowers and complete some stitching. I have been working on Baker Beach a little bit this week. Here it is last week.
This is where I am as of yesterday.
I hope to finish that brown-grey color that I am currently working on today. I might even be able to stitch those wires today also.
I am joining Kathy today for some Slow Sunday Stitching. I am also joining the Stitchery Link Party. Pop on over to these sites to see what other bloggers are stitching.
Thanks for stopping by!
I am so jealous of all your flowers... enjoy!
ReplyDeleteYour stitching is growing , and so is your wonderful garden.
ReplyDeleteWow.. your cross stitch is wonderful. So are your beautiful plants! Enjoy the slow stitching.
ReplyDeleteYour azaleas are stunning! I don't have any but my neighbors do, though they are not blooming just yet. Soon I hope. Enjoy your garden today as well as your stitching :)
ReplyDeleteI grew up with azaleas and insisted on them when we landscaped our back yard even though I was told they were out of style. Of course that was 20 years ago. I guess I am still old-fashioned.
DeleteYour azeleas are beautiful; mine look all stringy and just a few flowers--do you have any secrets?? ;--))) I love that piece you are stitching--I never learned counted cross stitch...hugs, Julierose
ReplyDeleteLovely flowers. You are making such great progress on this cross stitch. So fun to watch it progress each week.

ReplyDeleteThe hanging baskets are beautiful, what a lovely gift. Great progress.
ReplyDeleteHubby buys me hanging baskets every Mother's Day. The perfect gift because I have them all summer.
DeleteOur azaleas were budding when we left. I'm sure that they're done blooming by now. :-(
ReplyDeleteAs a former counted cross stitcher, I must ask: what purpose do those busting stitches serve? I never basted any of my work (I was self taught, so maybe I should have basted?).
Your garden looks lovely as does your stitching project :)
ReplyDeleteThe flowers in your garden are looking beautiful.

ReplyDeleteYour flowers are lovely. Baker Beach is incredibly impressive!
ReplyDeleteYour CS is fantastic! I have never seen such an involved piece being worked before. Love the azaleas etc too. We are heading into winter hear so it is nearly time to prune and cut everything back.
ReplyDeleteour azaleas are blooming but not vibrantly as before, I'm going to blame the harsh winter. Lovely lovely photos! And I see more progress on the picture you are stitching.
ReplyDeleteI'm just popping back to thank you for linking up to last week's Stitchery Link Party. I do hope you come link up again soon. I'm having a small giveaway over the next few weeks and anyone who links up will be entered into the drawing.
