I am inching closer to finishing Baker Beach. I was able to spend about an hour yesterday stitching sand. You can see that I have made it down to the bottom left corner.
I am oh so close. I just want to sit and stitch until it is done. Unfortunately, there are the basics of life that get in the way, but that is okay. With a February Break coming up, I know that it will be done by the end of this month. Wow, did I actually say that?
I have also spent some more time working on my cowl. I am loving the way it is looking.
I am joining Kathy for some Slow Sunday Stitching today. Baker Beach is on my stitching radar. Pop on over to her site to see what other bloggers are stitching.
Thanks for stopping by!

So exciting to see how close you are to finishing Baker Beach! I can’t wait to see the entire picture. Your cowl is pretty with the variegated yarn. It will be perfect to keep yo warm on the cold days.

ReplyDeleteHi Cathie! I'm cheering you on to the finish line. What an amazing piece you have with all those tiny stitches becoming a beautiful image. I just finished a blanket project that had been on my to do list. Enjoy your day, Pat xx
ReplyDeleteSolid coverage stitching is so impressive! I have a couple of Heaven and Earth Designs in the stash, but I don't know if I will ever actually stitch one. Maybe after I retire and have more time to craft.
ReplyDeleteHow exciting, it must be a wonderful feeling seeing the end is near. I too am cheering you on and am looking forward to seeing the end result.

When I first started seeing this, I thought it was only the bridge and didn't realize how much more there was to it. It's exciting to see it almost finished!
