Cross-stitching

I have had a little down time and I have been spending it with my cross-stitch. A little progress on Baker Beach. Last week:
This week:
I have also been able to work some more on my Prairie Schooler Santa.
These came in the mail Friday. I used some birthday money (from February) to purchase these. My children (and maybe me) will be the recipients of the finished products in the future.
Since the designers have retired, I didn't want to miss out on getting some more of their charts.
I am joining Kathy for Slow Sunday Stitching today. I am not sure how much stitching will get done as Hubby and I have a full house. Maybe in the morning before everyone rises I will sneak in a little stitching. Tomorrow I will be linking up to Super Mom - No Cape for the Stichery Link Party. Pop on over to these sites to see what other stitchers are working on.

Bunny came back to munch on a piece of raisin bread that I threw out for the birds. We feed them seed also.
He/she stayed away when Hubby and Son were playing a game from one long ago Easter. Oh the memories....
It is so nice to have our son home for a while.
Thanks for stopping by!

  2. I am spending some time with my daughter this weekend. I remember that toy from when I was a kid! All those CCS patterns should keep you busy and out of trouble for a long time! I love to see your stitching each week.

  3. These are both really coming along! :) I had thought to sew a bit yesterday and ended up at a picnic with the DIL and grands all day. So I hope to catch up today.

Enjoy your full house after you sneak in a few stitches prior :)

  8. Love those Santa's. What a great gift they would make.

I don't need to feed the rabbits here...they help themselves to the garden buffet.

  14. Cathie, your progress on Baker Beach is fantastic and your Prairie Schooler Santa is almost done! Beautiful progress on both. I am so glad you are enjoying a visit from your son. :) (We are moving my eldest to college later this year for his freshman year. I am incredibly excited for him, but am already looking forward to him coming home for Christmas!)

  16. Hello Cathie, Santa and Baker beach are progressing nicely. That collection of Santas will keep you busy! We don't get rabbits here, fortunately, but we do get squirrels and Ring-necked Parakeets which are a nuisance and do stop the nice little birds from getting to the feeders. It's great you are getting time with son! Barbara xx

  17. The rabbits in my backyard eat my flowers, and make me mad! I discourage them from visiting.
