Now that I have finished "Through the Woods", I can concentrate on my stamped cross-stitch and Large Cross-stitch #1.
This is the last update on the stamped cross-stitch.
This is where I am as of today. I am quite pleased with the progress.
Here is the last update on Large Cross-stitch #1.
I have added a few colors other than blue. Although I am now immersed in grey for a while. Still, it is nice to see some of the picture taking shape.
I am joining Kathy at Kathy's Quilts for some Slow Sunday Stitching. Pop on over to her site to see what other bloggers are stitching.
Thanks for stopping by!
I used to cross stitch, but stopped when I discovered quilting. This is coming right along and will be absolutely breath taking when you finish!
ReplyDeleteYou're making lovely progress with everything Cathie - a stitch at a time, way to go! xoJoy
ReplyDeleteI HAVE done cross stitch long ago, once or twice, and this is why I know that you cross stitchers have more patience and talent than anything the rest of us might do :) I just love to view it and enjoy it and appreciate the hard work that goes in to it :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Deb. I thing most crafts take time and patience. If you love what you are working on it usually is fun to do. I envy those who quilt or knit prolifically. Those crafts can try my patience sometimes.
DeleteBeautiful cross stitch. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteWonderful stitching .
ReplyDeleteThank you.
DeleteBeautiful cross stitch ... I'm intrigued by Large Cross Stitch #1 ... I can't wait to see what it's going to be. Every once in a while I think about doing a little cross stitch again, but I'd have to forego sleep to have the time to add that in to my days. ;-)
ReplyDeleteLooks like you're making great progress, Cathie! Enjoy your 4th of July weekend :)
