Happy Mother's Day!

I hope all of my fellow mother bloggers are enjoying their Mother's Day. I will be sharing mine with my own mother, my daughter and my mother-in-law, along with a few other family members. Hopefully my son will Skype with us.

I finished the binding on my "Fly Away Blues" quilt. Now I have to sew up a sleeve, make a label and attach both. I was quite pleased with how quickly the hand sewing of the binding went. I must have been in the right mood!

I have made quite a bit of progress on the Large Cross-stitch #1. This is how it looked last week.

And this is the latest picture. I have actually finished a bit more since this picture was taken.
The azaleas that hubby and I planted this spring are blooming beautifully. I should amend that statement, I picked them out at the store and hubby did the planting and mulching.
We needed to replace two older azaleas that didn't survive the winter snows.

Thanks for stopping by!

  1. Hope you have a wonderful day with all your family. Mothers Day here in England was in March. The cross stitch is coming along nicely.
