Welcome Anyone?

 

This is the first step of my blog journey and I look forward to sharing many more with you. The photo below is one of my cross-stitch designs. Thought is was perfect for my first post.

 

 This is an ancient Chinese saying that I surrounded by a "trip around the world" quilt pattern. Blue and red are favorite colors of mine.

 

I also have several WIPs.  Once again the design below is one of my own. I'm busy stitching it this summer. There is an awful lot of black. Can you guess which holiday this is for? Hope it is finished by then.

 

 

 Also have some crocheting in progress. I think these Granny Square Roses from here will become a new afghan.  Not that we need another afghan at my house, but couldn't resist crocheting these beautiful roses. Love the work that Astri does at Apple Blossom Dreams.
