I still have to write the second vacation post, but I haven’t uploaded all the photos yet. You can see the first vacation post here. I decided to write a short crafting post instead. My travel craft didn’t get all that much attention. We were too busy and I was reading on the flights. This is how Cinnamon House currently looks.
Since we’ve been home, I’ve finished the stitching and beading on Charming Santa.
Assembly will be next. My least favorite part.
I’ve finished quilting another Block of Having A Ball and I’m almost finished with the pale pink block that you can see.
When that is done I will have 12 of the 36 blocks quilted.
I will be joining Kathy for some Slow Sunday Stitching and Frederique at the Quilting Patch. Make yourself some tea or coffee and pop on over to their sites to see what other bloggers are stitching.
Thanks for stopping by!
Charmed Santa is so much fun. I love the texture the beading brings to it.
ReplyDeleteI do like the Mill Hill ornament kits.
DeleteSanta will soon be done and ready to gift! What book did you read on the plane? Your quilting is coming along. I need to pick another quilt for hand quilting. Gail at the cozy quilter
ReplyDeleteYour work in progress looks good! While I'm traveling, I don't often have the opportunity to stitch, you did great during your vacations!
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing and linking up.
You are making good progress on your "having a ball" quilt! I have so enjoyed reading your posts about this project. --TerryK@OnGoingProjects
ReplyDeleteThank you so much!
DeleteWell done Cathie ,lovely stitching and I love the Santa ,
ReplyDeleteHugs June.
Beaded santa is lovely. Great stitching on your quilt too. I always go away with good intentions to craft. It doesn't always work out that way!!
ReplyDeleteI had to go over and look at your vacation post - it looked wonderful! Plenty of time for crafting now that you're home. The Cinnamon House project will be a fun one! And Santa looks great, too. Have a relaxing Sunday, Cathie!
ReplyDeleteOh my santa's beard is very interesting!
ReplyDeleteI agree on the assembling after a stitching project. I am very sloppy probably because I don't know what I am doing. Lovely projects!
ReplyDeleteLovely stitches and I made your photos bigger so I could see these lovely projects you have on the go, Cathie. Those Having a Ball centers are so pretty. Feels good to move them all along, doesn't it. Happy Stitching from me!
ReplyDeleteWow! Love your hand quilting. What a creation of blocks on all angles. Looks great. Your paper punch beading looks great, too. Nice to finish some projects.
ReplyDeleteHello Cathie: Looking forward to seeing your vacation photos, since Mike has been sick we are not able to take vacations together. Cinnamon House is such a sweet design, nice start, the quilt is coming along, such lovely colored fabrics you chose. Santas Face is adorable, I too do not like to construct the Mill Hill designs.
