Yarn Along

I haven't made a whole lot of progress on my vest, but it has grown a little.
I don't mind though because I have been busy quilting my table runner. I am almost done with the quilting. I will a share a pic soon.
I am in the middle of reading The House at Riverton. This is another great Kate Morton book. I don't want to put it down yet I don't want to read it too quickly. I want it to last.
The humidity has broken here on Long Island. It is a gorgeous day.
I am joining Ginny for Yarn Along today. What are you knitting/crocheting? What are you reading? Pop on over to her site to see what other bloggers are up to.
Just a quick update.
Thanks for stopping by!

  1. Glad your weather has improved...I remember the summer humidity and heat back in Pittsburgh (when I was a girl) and am thankful we don't have summers like that here in the Pacific NW. It's been a hotter than usual summer here, though, this year, so I'm thankful for the cool weather here today -- only supposed to be in the mid-70s! woo-hoo!

I'm still reading Jan Karon's latest Mitford title and am almost finished with my recycled yarn knitting project for the county fair!

  3. I love a good book that you don't want to put down. Isn't it nice now that the humidity is gone? It was such a nice breath of fresh air this morning.

  4. That is a beautiful blue! I also love when a book grabs hold and you must force yourself to slow down - enjoy!

  6. That is such a pretty shade of blue. You know it's a good book when you dread getting close to the end.
