Slow Sunday Stitching

I finally got around to working on my Large Cross-stitch #1 again. I desperately needed to work on a relaxing craft. This is where I was the last time I checked in.
I have filled in a few holes and worked my way down the chart. This is where I am now. Thank goodness I can really see some progress.

My dilemma today is whether to knit or cross-stitch. I also need to get to the fabric store in order to finish my table runner. Hmm. What to do? There are some chores lining up also. Remember those windows I washed? I still haven't hung the curtains on them. There are plenty more windows that need washing still. I also have to finish putting out my Halloween decorations. See the pillow in my header. I have to find it. I can't remember where I stored it. Really?! How did I manage that?!

I am joining Kathy for some Slow Sunday Stitching. Check out her blog to see what other bloggers are stitching.
Thanks for stopping by!

  1. Follow your heart that way you will be happy. I started my fall cleaning too, but am glad I slowed down to finish my block. Enjoy your stitches what ever they will be!

  2. That bridge is going to look fantastic when it's done! I vote for letting the windows wait a bit -- they'll still be there later, right? :-)

  4. Golden Gate Bridge? I love it!! My windows need washing ... badly. I asked DH to hire someone to wash our windows (and blinds) as my Christmas present. I'd rather stitch! ;-)

  9. We were lucky enough to have our windows replaced this week, so I don't have to wash them until spring--haha! The sky in your stitchery is amazing!

  11. Stitching over cleaning for me every time (though you could probably tell that if you saw my house). Your bridge cross-stitch looks great.

  14. Oh look at that sunset! So pretty - nice job! Hmmmm...thread or yarn? That's a tough one! Yarn seems to always win with me, so I have a lot of stitching projects that are getting dusty. ;-)
