Well I put my mind to it and I finished binding the Peanuts quilt. Actually the title of today's post is not quite right. I still have to add a label, but I consider this quilt finished. The label will be done soon.
Here it is!
Here are some close-ups of the border quilting.
Now that this quilt is done, I have returned to my cross-stitching. This is where Large Cross-stitch #1 was the last time I posted about it.
This is what I have completed in the last couple of days.
I enjoy stitching the big swaths of one color. Thankfully there is a lot of that in this chart. I hope to finish the first page that I am stitching by the end of the month. I want to get a move on with it as I have another large cross-stitch to work on as well as my own designs which have lately fallen by the wayside.
I am joining Kathy for Slow Sunday Stitching. Pop on over to her site to see what other bloggers are stitching.

Love the Peanuts quilt. Bright and colorful fabric choices. Hand quilting has nice even stitches.
ReplyDeleteI can't take credit. This was a kit from Keepsake Quilting. Thanks for commenting.
DeleteWhat a lovely Quilt . Great stitching too.
ReplyDeleteWonderful quilt with great stitching. The cross stitch is delightful.
ReplyDeleteThank you. I am glad this quilt is finished. Now on to more projects!
DeleteCongrats on finishing the wonderful peanuts quilt!
ReplyDeleteAre the green threads on your stitchery marking rows? Or are they basting stitches? Just wondering...
I used the green thread to designate the 10x10 grid on the chart. Another blogger recommended it for such a large project. This is just the first of 10 pages of stitching.
DeleteThanks for stopping by my blog! I haven't crossed stitched in a really long time, but your picture is making me think maybe I should :-).
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping also. I can never stay away from any craft for too long. There is always something I want to make in all of them.
DeleteI don't have the patience for cross stitch but I enjoy seeing other's work and I have really enjoyed seeing the peanuts quilt as you work on it. Congrats on a wonderful finish...cutest quilt EVER! :)
ReplyDeleteWe each have our strengths. My patience is taxed by scrap-booking. Thanks for visiting. I'm glad you like the quilt.
DeleteI used to do a lot of cross stitching. The big projects would take me a year to finish! The green threads are a great idea.
ReplyDeleteI think this project will probably take more that a year. Sigh... I get distracted by other crafts.
DeleteYour Peanuts quilt is adorable! Love it!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
