I can tell you that I would love to be on the beach below right now. I woke up to single digit Fahrenheit temps this morning with a windchill below zero. This bitterly cold weather that we have been experiencing for well over a week here on Long Island has at least been beneficial to my progress on Three Boats. I have no interest in braving the frigid, windy weather outside. This is where Three Boats was in January.
This Stitch Along is hosted every three weeks by Avis at Sewing Beside the Sea who kindly sends us the needed posting reminders.
Grab yourself a cup of coffee or tea and take some time to visit the other bloggers below who are part of this stitch-along. There is a wide variety of stitching projects. These talented stitchers are from all over the world, so please allow for the time differences and check back for each post.

It’s been really cold here too! I’m ok to be outside as long as it isn’t too windy and I’m dressed warmly. I agree with you…stitching with pretty colours is preferable to stitching with black! Gail at the cozy quilter
ReplyDeleteBeautiful progress! Stay warm (it's chilly in Ocala,FL too but not that cold. Just freezing temps overnight).
ReplyDeleteNice progress ! Sarah quilting by the sea
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteHopefully the weather will warm up soon! But you're making great progress on this, I understand being more motivated by those bright blues
ReplyDeleteIt is a little warmer here, but there is still a bunch of snow on the ground.
DeleteIt’s beautiful. Those colors are so pretty.
ReplyDeletethe colours of the sky are really warm!
ReplyDeleteYes, I really enjoy working with them.
DeleteI would believe that stitching blue is easier to see than black but maybe not! It is frigid and it's a little bit too cold for this winter lover.
ReplyDeleteStitching with the blue is easier, but there are a whole lot of blue shades to stitch. It is too cold for this winter lover also.
DeleteBrrrr - I am glad to read your staying in and getting some stitching done in this frigid weather. Things are really taking form with your project, Great progress!
ReplyDeleteThank you.
DeleteI love the sunset colours on this piece. It hasn't been too cold here, hovering around freezing but it's rained every day for weeks which is most unusual. Wrap up warm!
ReplyDeleteIt is finally getting warmer here, but it is still cold. I hope the rain has stopped by you.
DeleteGreetings Cathie: I am so sorry you are getting the weather we usually get here in Minnesota, we are having unusually warm weather here in the upper 30s and low 40s this week.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the stitching progress on Three Boats.
Looking forward to seeing what else you are working on.
