November Stitch Along Update

There hasn't been much progress on Three Boats lately. I have been cross-stitching a Christmas stocking for my younger granddaughter and that has been my focus when I feel like cross-stitching. You can see my progress on that project and others here. I want to finish the stocking for Christmas.

So, three weeks ago, Three Boats looked like this:

I have filled in a few stitches during the two times I worked on it in the last 3 weeks. When I picked it up on Friday, it took a while for me to figure out where I was with the color floss that I was working with. Thank goodness for the grid that I put in. I'm not sure I would have ever found my place.  I took a closer photo in the hope that you could see the variety of colors better.

There are black, grey, green, brown and blue in those stitches.

This Stitch Along is hosted every three weeks by Avis at Sewing Beside the Sea who kindly sends us the needed posting reminders.

Grab yourself a cup of coffee or tea and take some time to visit the other bloggers below who are part of this stitch-along. There is a wide variety of stitching projects. These talented stitchers are from all over the world, so please allow for the time differences and check back for each post.

    1. My problem is not having the time, but having too many projects in progress at once. Thanks for visiting.

  2. There are so many confetti stitches in this picture. I’m sure it will get more attention once the stocking is done. Gail at the cozy quilter

  3. A little break from another project is always nice anyway. I'm lazy and post two projects in one post sometimes as I expect people won't be visiting at other times haha.

You're making good progress nonetheless , full coverages are not easy

    1. If you visited the link above, you would see that I have many different projects posted. I usually only post once a week and then an extra post for the stitch along.

  4. Having seen your previous post and all the crochet and other xstitching you're busy with, I'm amazed you managed any stitching on your SAL project at all ^^

    1. I do believe I have way too many projects in progress at the moment, but a few of them will be finished soon and I can spend more time on Three Boats.

  5. Any stitch in is one less to do, and one stitch closer to the finish! It’s all good. :)

  6. Well done for getting some of the boats project done. Projects for the family take priority at this time of year :-)

    1. I like to work a little bit on everything, but most of my time is spent on the stocking.

  7. I just saw all of the projects you were working on. All lovely! I should try the grid system because I have been messing up a lot on my current one.

    1. Without the grid system, I would never be able to find my place on this project, especially with all the dark flosses.
