End of November

Wow! November seems to have flown by! Last weekend we traveled to the Boston area to celebrate an early Thanksgiving with our daughter, her family and her in-laws. We had a fun weekend with them. I brought a Christmas sticker book for our granddaughter to enjoy. She made the first picture just after we left on Sunday.

There was another finish this week. The scrappy baby blanket is done and ready for donation.

I’ve also made a lot of progress on my younger granddaughter’s Christmas stocking. The tree is complete and the wall by the little girl is filling in.

Once the wall is filled in, just the top two borders and the name need to be cross-stitched. Lastly will be some outlining and French knots.

I brought the knitted hat in the car to work on to and from Boston. Now that the blanket is finished it will become my TV watching project. It should be done in no time.

On Thursday we celebrated Thanksgiving with my mother in law. On Friday I put away my Fall decor and started to decorate for Christmas. Kudos to Hubby for once again taking my many storage boxes down from the garage storage platform. Let the decorating begin!

I am joining Kathy for some Slow Sunday Stitching tomorrow. I hope you take some time to relax with some tea or coffee and pop on over to their sites to see what other bloggers are stitching.

Thanks for stopping by!
