Three weeks have passed by quickly. How can we be near the end of October already? This is how Three Boats On a Tropical Beach by Artecy looked at the last update. I had just started working on the third of six columns.
I’m still only stitching dark colors right now. There are a lot of them for sure. Below you can see more of the palm tree filling in.
This Stitch Along is hosted every three weeks by Avis at Sewing Beside the Sea who kindly sends us the needed posting reminders. Christina is taking a break from the Stitch Along for now. Hopefully she will return in the future.
Grab yourself a cup of coffee or tea and take some time to visit the other bloggers below who are part of this stitch-along. There is a wide variety of stitching projects. These talented stitchers are from all over the world, so please allow for the time differences and check back for each post.

I wasn’t sure you would be working this project when you have the stocking to finish by Christmas…well done ! Gail at the cozy quilter
ReplyDeleteOh all those stitches in so many different colors!!! You are amazing!
ReplyDeletea good idea to stitch the darker colours first.
ReplyDeleteI'm just trying to stitch from the top down, or from left to right as it is orientated in the scroll frame.
DeleteI can certainly see progress but always find confetti stitching so very slow.
ReplyDeleteI find confetti stitching annoying and slow also, but right now there are plenty of stitches in one color to keep me interested and a whole lot of careful counting to do.
Deletelovely progress! I started a little hat for the third grandbaby, it's fun to knit little things.
ReplyDeleteStarting a new column is like the beginning of a new project. I sometimes try to fool myself anyway ;-)
ReplyDeleteIf I need motivation, I often trick myself that way also.
DeleteLots of little black stitches. I love your scary cat heading picture 👻
ReplyDeleteActually those are black, grey, brown and dark green stitches. Sometimes hard to see the color changes when stitching.
DeleteI love watching you stitch over your grid. You have more patience than I do!
ReplyDeleteThe grid is very helpful when trying count where future stitches should go.
DeleteGreat progress -- I admire your patience with these confetti stitches!
ReplyDeleteThank you.
DeleteYou're making amazing progress! This design has such beautiful colours
ReplyDeleteThank you.
