There will be two Stitch Along updates this month. This is the first. Here is where I was on Three Boats in February.
This is where I am now.
There isn't much of a change as there was a trip to Boston and one to California to babysit my grandson and await the birth of my granddaughter. She isn't here as of the writing of this post on Wednesday. Perhaps there will be more of a change on Three Boats in three weeks.
This Stitch Along is hosted every three weeks by Avis at Sewing Beside the Sea who kindly sends us the needed posting reminders.
Grab yourself a cup of coffee or tea and take some time to visit the other bloggers below who are part of this stitch-along. There is a wide variety of stitching projects. These talented stitchers are from all over the world, so please allow for the time differences and check back for each post.

We say goodbye to Gun. I will miss seeing her wonderful posts.
Thanks for stopping by!
Every stitch counts…you have been busy lately with the birth announcement and your trips to visit family. Gail at the cozy quilter
ReplyDeleteOooh, a lovely full coverage piece! I have a much smaller one that has gone along in dribs and drabs for a couple of years now. A stitch along is a great way to prompt yourself to work on it.
ReplyDeleteExciting times, Cathie! Has your granddaughter arrived? Hope you're enjoying some newborn snuggles today!
ReplyDeleteOh Grandchildren and especially new baby grandchildren are far more fun that stitching so a little progress is excellent in my opinion.
ReplyDeleteYes they are!
DeleteHere's to hoping that the arrival of your new granddaughter is safe and sound and the proud parents (and grandparents) and brother enjoy the heck out of her. This is a beautiful project!
ReplyDeleteShe is here and she is well loved.
DeleteYour Three Boats is lovely! Hoping your grandbaby arrives safe and well!
ReplyDeleteThat's a wee bit exciting babysitting your grandson. Very soon he will have a sweet little sister to play with......well..... a little further down the track, that is.=)
ReplyDeleteAll progress is progress -- and you've had plenty to keep you busy, I'm sure. A piece this big probably doesn't travel well. See you in three weeks.
ReplyDeleteNo, this is not a piece that can travel at all. Too many different flosses and currently on a scroll lap frame. Not airplane friendly.
DeleteLovely progress , looking beautiful .
ReplyDeleteHave a fun week.
Family time is more important than stitching. Your Grandson will have been so excited!!
ReplyDeleteMy grandson enjoyed playing with Grammy.
DeleteHi Cathie, Any stitches laid, even a few, move a project along is the way I think about it these days. How neat to have had some travel. And how wonderful to be anticipating a grand daughter. I have two grandsons and would have loved a granddaughter too.
ReplyDeletehope baby arrives soon!
ReplyDeleteBaby girl arrived March 9th!
DeleteSome wonderful excitement at your end. Congrats on the (hope she's arrived) new granddaughter!
ReplyDeleteBaby girl arrived March 9th!
DeleteI hope she arrives soon if not already! You are just a great grandmother traveling all over. Our grands are coming for a week next week while the kids look for a house to buy.
ReplyDeleteHi Cathie: Sorry for the late comment, a little progress is better than none I say.
ReplyDeleteI hope you are having a great stitching week.
