There are a whole lot of yarn stores around me too, but since most good yarns are too itchy for me I still lean towards acrylic. I do like the feel of knitting or crocheting with the finer yarns though. I ...Never got into the animals, just not my thing. I think in general knitting, crocheting, and cross-stitching have come back around. Back when I first knitted and crocheted...it was difficult to even find yarn to work with, and nothing but WW acrylic was in abundance. Now, There's a yarn store everywhere. Patterns too are much more available then they were previously. Afghans have really come back. Back when I first started making them, they weren't very popular...but then I'm old as dirt...so, it's been a while, lol.Sandyhttps://4ccccs.blogspot.com/2019/02/knitting-afghans-and-watching-mccleods.htmlnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7466381655230766766.post-87568319902737603742019-02-13T02:37:38.884-05:002019-02-13T02:37:38.884-05:00This comment has been removed by a blog administrator.Alihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03503691562158423801noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7466381655230766766.post-59107080331977489152019-02-11T12:58:49.054-05:002019-02-11T12:58:49.054-05:00Lovely crochet ,and cute dogs . The pattern came out of an old crochet book from the 1980's.Deborahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15251395726846836861noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7466381655230766766.post-29738991993689833162019-02-10T10:56:14.409-05:002019-02-10T10:56:14.409-05:00Love this story of an adorable toy resurfacing.
