November Stitch Along Update

It is hard to believe that November is already half over. There is only one Stitch Along update this month. This is where I was at our last update: 


I seem to have had a lot of stitching time lately as I am almost finished with the second of 24 pages. 


The finish is oh so close, but there is a lot of confetti stitching in that little space on the bottom right.

I baked a couple of pumpkin breads yesterday. 
I will be sharing these with my mom and MIL. 
These are from a clipped recipe that my mother had, but never tried. It is quite tasty. I happen to like raisins in my pumpkin bread. I may add them next time.

I was going to wait to make these closer to Thanksgiving, but there will be pumpkin pie then so the bread is good now. It appears that the holiday may be quite different than I had imagined. Probably different than we all imagined. Please wear your masks and stay safe.

      Thank you for visiting. My daughter and her husband are quarantining for 2 weeks so that they can visit. It will depend on what the restrictions are for each state.

    yes Thanksgiving will be different - when we get back to normal we will have a different outlook on life and get as many hugs and visits as we can.

    Your mother and MIL will enjoy the bread you have made for them. Our Thanksgiving in October was a quiet affair...just my husband and I. I really miss our family gatherings. I’m hoping we can be together at Christmas but I’m doubtful. We will have to figure something out. You will be on page 3 very soon!

      We are going to attempt a small Thanksgiving gathering as my daughter and her husband have the luxury of quarantining at home for 2 weeks. My mom and MIL are really missing family time. They only see me or my husband.

    I see lots of beautiful sky developing in your cross-stitch project! 24 pages sounds huge to me - definitely a long term project! Your pumpkin looks yummy - I made a loaf recently, too. It's my favorite kind!

    Wow!! The progress on your Three Boats is wonderful. It is really coming together beautifully. Your pumpkin breads look utterly delicious. Yes, a different Thanksgiving for you all this year. The wearing of a mask such a simple thing to do to ensure that you keep safe. Keep well and please take care.

    Beautiful stitching! Our Thanksgiving has gone from 40 plus people to maybe 6, maybe only 4. Hope things are back to normal by next year!

    Your stitching is really coming alone, looks very tedious. The bread looks yummy. I like raisins in mine as well. Right you are the holidays will be very different this year. My family is not gathering. There are typically 20-25 of us, just far too many from different locations, travel is dangerous and mutli-generational ages is a problem too. I haven't been blogging much of late and decided I needed to get back into it. Hope you and yours are staying safe.
