Baker Beach has been getting some love.

I had a whole lot of time last weekend and yesterday to work on Baker Beach. The fifth page is well under way. I feel guilty that I am not washing windows or planting flowers (not that I have bought any yet), but not that guilty.
Here is where I was last week.
This is my progress since then.
I have also been working bit by bit on the pup. You can see just a little bit of a darker brown color on the right side of the tale and underside of the belly.
This should be going faster, but I am not motivated.

Isn't this a great book that I received from my son for Mother's Day.
I can't wait to have the time this summer to buy some fabric and get a start on one of these 3-D quilts. I have always wanted to make a tumbling blocks quilt, but I may start on one of the beautiful variations.
This is amazing.

I will be joining Kathy for some Slow Sunday Stitching today. On Monday I will join the Stitchery Link Party at Super Mom - No Cape. Pop on over to these sites to see what other bloggers are stitching.

Thanks for stopping by!

Look at you go on Baker Beach! I have a pattern for a 3D quilt that I would like to try sometime. That book looks like it could keep you busy for quite some time!

Too funny about feeling guilty, but not enough to put down the needle and thread!!
Enjoy your stitching!

Always go with what you feel like doing! You have made a lot of progress on the bridge stitching. Beautiful 3d quilt. Will be fun to see that one progress.

I've been wondering about your Golden Gate project. It's really looking good! Is this the last column?

That bridge is going to look amazing once finished! My sister does beautiful quilting, but I have never been tempted. My sewing machine and I have a troubled relationship so I tend to stick to yarny crafts:) As a doglover, I can't wait to see that pup finished!

Beautiful work. I felt like that with the pup for a long time, then had a couple weeks of motivation and finished it off.

Oh my... Baker's Beach is really coming along. You're getting so close to a finish on it!

What a wonderful gift you received for Mother's Day! Those 3D quilts are always stunning to look at. One is on my bucket list but my goodness that list is getting long! :)

Thanks so much for linking up to last week's Stitchery Link Party and for linking back. Aloha hugs!
