Broadway!

Hubby and I celebrated 30 years of marriage this past July. We went out to dinner to celebrate, but family obligations prevented any other celebration. Our children gave us tickets to see A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder on Broadway for this past Saturday. So Hubby and I drove into NYC and walked around for a while.
We walked through Bryant Park.

We had dinner at Da Marino

This is a really small NYC Italian restaurant in a basement. This picture from the web shows exactly how wide the entire place is. The food was really good. Hubby had shrimp and pasta, I had chicken parmigiana. We shared a wonderfully light tiramisu for dessert. Our children surprised us and paid for our cocktails. WooHoo!
Next we went to the Walter Kerr Theatre. Here are some pics of the interior.

I really love Broadway musicals. I have seen several over the years.

A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder was wonderful. Hubby and I are surprised it is closing soon. It was hilarious!
Afterwards we stopped at the bar at the Crowne Plaza Hotel to have a glass of wine and watch the end of the Mets game. LET'S GO METS!!!

Thanks for stopping by!
